TIP: In My GS1 you (depending on your rights) can view and manage your company and GS1 membership details.
GS1 is an organisation that strives for a more efficient supply chain by offering companies global standards for identification, as well as for capturing and sharing data. One of the best known standards is the barcode. Companies become members of GS1 by purchasing a unique code (GS1 company prefix and/or GLN) in order to uniquely identify their products.
A membership at GS1 Belgilux is equivalent to purchasing a company prefix with which you can uniquely identify products. The use of the number is subject to an annual contribution calculated on the total turnover of the company.
In addition, there are also other contracts that can be concluded with us. These are also renewed annually.
Please find more information about our rates here.
You can view and manage your membership as well as your company details in My GS1.
There are various contracts, each with its own product or services. Below is more information about our most common contracts:
- Codes (prefix 1)
CON-XXX refers to a company prefix that allows products to be uniquely identified. The company prefix can be found under "My Contracts" on My GS1. The fee depends on your company's revenue and the number of codes in your package.
- My Product Manager Share
With My Product Manager Share, you can create complete product sheets for your products and share them with your data recipients.
- My Coupon Manager
By subscribing to My Coupon Manager, you can create and exchange your discount coupons with various actors within the coupon ecosystem.
More information about other contracts can be found on our pricing page.
The annual contribution is calculated based on the total turnover of the affiliated company for which the GS1 company prefix was purchased.
Every year we ask the administrator(s) of the My GS1 account to provide the total turnover (including a supporting document).
You can resign by filling in this form.
You can send you PO number via this form.
GS1 Belgilux is a service organisation and not a supplier.
Companies join us to make use of our standards and services. This means that the relationship is not reciprocal: we are not a customer of the affiliated company.
Therefore, unfortunately, we cannot comply with individual procedures or working methods that are specific to a single affiliated organisation.
For Belgian companies, sending invoices via Peppol will be mandatory from 1 January 2026. We will use your CBE number as standard for this purpose. If you prefer to use a different identifier for invoicing, you can adapt your invoice details in My GS1.
For non-Belgian companies, invoices will still be sent by e-mail, unless otherwise specified in your My GS1 account.
We will use your CBE number as standard for this purpose. If you prefer to use a different identifier (GLN or VAT number) for invoicing, you can adapt your invoice details in My GS1. You need to be an administrator to do so.
A membership cannot be temporarily cancelled. If you wish to cancel your membership, this must be done before June 30th of the current membership year, in accordance with our general conditions.
If you wish to rejoin at a later date, this will be considered a new membership. The corresponding rates will then apply again, including for the period during which the membership was inactive. You can submit your request for termination via this form.
The product codes (GTINs) are managed by the company itself. GS1 Belgilux has created the "My Product Manager” tool to create and manage product codes and barcodes easily. Have you created codes via this route? Then go to the tool for an overview of the codes.
If you have already created codes yourself, but are interested in using the tool in the future, then please contact us via support@gs1belu.org.
Incorrect amount, turnover, VAT number or something else? We will be happy to look into this with you. You can use this form to indicate what is wrong and send us the necessary documentation so that we can help you quickly and efficiently.
