How do I start creating a product sheet?

In My Product Manager, the idea is for you to make an exact copy of the data of your physical product. In doing so, consumers are sent the same information via webshops as they would get at the bricks and mortar shops. This information also pilots retailers’ warehouses.

This is what you need to get started:

Physical product

so you get to see all information (logos, texts, etc.)

Logistical information

E.g. dimensions, palletisation, Intrastat code, etc.

Do you already have product information in My Product Manager?


  • Step 1: Select a similar product and copy this in 'My products’.
  • Step 2: Update the data in the new sheet so it matches the product you are looking to enter.
  • Step 3: Confirm the sheet and make sure you no longer get any more error messages.
  • Step 4: Repeat these steps for the outer box and any other packaging levels (inner-pack, pallet, display).
  • Step 5: Confirm the product hierarchy.
  • Step 6: Go to the 'My publications' tab and publish the items.
  • Step 7: The next day, check if you have any error messages in the ‘GDSN feedback’ column.
