The data quality reports of My Product Manager show that not correctly filling in dimensions and/or weights is one of the most common and made mistakes. Dimensions and weights always need to be indicated. This way, the consumer knows what they buy online.
How can you see if your products contain these errors?
Check in the data quality report, which you can find in My Product Manager at ‘My reports’, ‘If isTradeItemNonphysical does not equal 'true' then grossWeight shall not be empty’ or ‘Depth/Height/Width is missing’ or any other error or warning related to the ingredient (statement).
If so, then follow the below steps to fill in the ingredient statement in a correct manner. This way, the product sheets will be visible to data recipients, even after the re-run.
How do you solve an error or warning?
This depends on through which way you register or edit your product sheets in My Product Manager.
Web interface My Product Manager
STEP 1
Log into the web interface of My Product Manager with your login credentials and go to ‘My products’.

STEP 2
Use the search function and enter the description, GTIN or brand of the product. To open the product sheet, click underneath ‘GTIN’ on the 14-digit GTIN of the product.
Next, click on ‘Edit data’ to edit the product sheet.

STEP 4
Verify if all relevant fields for dimensions and weights are filled in correctly. If necessary, use the complimentary available fields to correctly fill in dimensions and weights.
For the dimensions, fill in the field “height”, “depth” and “width”. Select in the field ‘unit of measure’ which unit of measure is used to express the value.
For the net weight*, fill in the field ‘net weight’. For the gross weight, fill in the field ‘gross weight’. Select in the field ‘unit of measure’ which unit of measure is used to express the value.

*The value of the net weight needs to equal the net content if this is expressed in (kilo)gram.
STEP 5
To fill in the value of the net content, use the field ‘Net content’. Select in the field ‘unit of measure’ the unit of measure that is used to express the value. Use the search function of My Product Manager and enter ‘net content’.

- Does the label mention a description of the net content? Then fill this in in the field ‘Net content Statement’. Specify in the field ‘language’ which language is used to fill in the description

STEP 6
Does the label also mention a drained weight, then fill this in in the field ‘drained weight’. Select in the field ‘unit of measure’ the unit of measure that is used to express the value. Use the search function of My Product Manager and enter ‘Drained weight’.
