For whom? Participation in GS1 Belgilux Partnership is intended for Solution Providers, i.e. companies offering products and/or services within the domain of the implementation of GS1 standards such as for instance hardware and software providers or consultancy and training agencies.
What? GS1 Belgilux Partnership is a collaboration concept and debating platform gathering registered Solution Providers. GS1 Belgilux Partners are being involved in the organisation's operation and projects. They are informed more thoroughly and at an earlier stage on the new GS1 standards and developments whereas GS1 Belgium & Luxembourg receives a more accurate and broader view on the solutions at hand or in the process of being developed. Prior aim is to achieve collaboration resulting into a more intensive use (in terms of quality and quantity) of the GS1 standards in the logistic chain.
GS1 Belgilux Partnership will gradually be expanded.
Phase 1 runs from January 2009 through December 2010. At the end of 2010 the concept and service package will be evaluated together with the registered Solution Providers.
In Phase 2 (2011 and beyond) the GS1 Belgilux Partnership will be pursued in an adapted formula based on the success of phase 1 and the wishes of the GS1 Belgilux Partners.
